Jack is a commercially minded lawyer with broad experience advising growth companies across jurisdictions and ownership structures, primarily within the technology sector. His background spans private practice and senior in-house roles, with deep expertise in corporate and commercial law, transactions, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
He has built and led legal functions in both scale-ups and established companies, including supporting the sale of Shape Games to Kambi Group plc. Jack began his career in private practice in the UK, specialising in corporate law and M&A, and has since combined deep legal expertise with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach to structuring and negotiating complex deals.
At Upright, I contribute legal, governance, and transactional expertise in support of long-term value creation across the portfolio. My work spans ownership structures, M&A processes, and complex decisions where legal clarity and commercial reality need to align.
I also serve as Group General Counsel at Framna, where I am responsible for legal, regulatory, and corporate governance across a growing international organisation. I work closely with leadership on M&A activity, cross-border operations, risk management, and organisational resilience.
